As a shift lead, I received my Level One Person-In-Charge certification and led closing shifts for four employees. As a Mike’s Marketer, I became familiar with marketing strategies for the surrounding community and created relationships with businessmen and women to increase sales. I also collaborated with other marketers across the eastern U.S. through bi-weekly conference calls for effective techniques.

Customer Service Representative. MiTech Print Center.

October 2015 – May 2016

As a customer service representative, I consulted 25 clients per hour in regards to file structuring, troubleshooting and order specifications prior to the printing process. This resulted in $500 in sales per hour. As an employee, I gained a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products, especially Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat Professional.

Summer Intern–Inventory Control. Nordson Corporation.

June 2012 – August 2012; May 2014 – August 2014; May 2015 – August 2015

With the Inventory Control team, I established a reliable product count of over 2,000 individual products each summer using SAP and contributed to a higher accuracy count in two warehouses, which led to a more efficient workflow. I also collaborated on the redesign process and its implementation of a warehouse to create a higher productivity rate and more accurate product counts.


Miami University. Oxford, Ohio.

August 2012 – May 2016

As a student at Miami University, I studied Strategic Communications and International Studies and completed 18 credit hours of Spanish at the advanced level (300-400). I have gained a thorough understanding of the European Union and concentrated my studies in Western Europe. Outside of the classroom, I was actively involved in the Miami Marlins, a club synchronized swim team, Adopt-a-School and PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America).

CEA Student Center. Barcelona, Spain.

September 2014 – December 2014

I was accepted into the CEA study abroad program for the Fall 2014 semester and studied Spanish Civilization and Culture. I participated in various organization activities such as trips to Madrid, Catalonian towns, and events studying local traditions. CEA also connected me with a volunteer experience where I was able to tutor adults learning English for two hours weekly and even taught my own lessons. After I returned home, I became a CEA Alumni Ambassador and promoted the program both online and on campus alongside other CEA alumni, connecting with potential CEA students to answer questions and alleviate anxieties about studying abroad.

September 2014 – December 2014

I was accepted into the UPF Advanced Humanities and Social Sciences program for the Fall 2014 semester and studied classes on Spanish art and cinema as well as grammar courses and learned about interactions in both the Spanish and Catalan cultures.
